The laboratory has developed 3 stable research directions, such as civil engineering disaster prevention and intelligent control, green building and building energy saving direction, green building materials development and solid waste resource utilization. The existing laboratory area is 2133 m2, including 1810 m2 for scientific research and nearly 323 m2 for office. There are more than 90 sets of scientific research instruments and equipment in the main laboratory. Large equipment includes the electron microscope of civil engineering material, electro-hydraulic servo power loading system, three-axis testing machine of rock; universal testing machine; Shimadzu fatigue testing machine; in-situ nano-mechanical testing system; micromechanics testing machine; microcomputer-controlled electronic universal testing machine; falling hammer impact testing system; all-round data acquisition and analysis system.
