The engineering research center has developed three research directions such as “harmless disposal technology of urban solid waste”, “key technology of multi-solid waste collaborative preparation of low-carbon construction materials” and “evaluation and application of mechanical and environmental behavior of low-carbon construction materials”. The test site of the engineering research center covers an area of 2600 m2, including the existing laboratory area of 1500 m2, the proposed laboratory area of 600 m2, and the proposed pilot plant of 500 m2. The large equipment includes Tescan scanning electron microscope; MTS electronic universal testing machine; laser particle size analyzer; Bruker X-ray diffractometer (proposed); Thermo Fisher Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (proposed); Mettler synchronous thermal analyzer (proposed); Bruker electron spin resonance spectrometer (proposed); and PerkinElmer atomic absorption spectrometer (proposed).
