Low-grade waste heat recovery, multi-energy complementary clean and low-carbon heat supply, phase change energy storage and heat and mass transfer enhancement, and improvement of heat-supply pipe network performance

The team has a long-term interest in the development of low-carbon and clean urban heating technologies, and based on the major needs of economic development in Hebei Province and the national development strategy, the team has made a series of new progresses in the power plant and industrial waste heat recovery, improvement of heat-supply pipe network performance, multi-energy complementary clean and low-carbon heat supply, high-efficiency lithium battery thermal management, phase change energy storage materials and equipment, heat and mass transfer enhancement, and intelligent optimization control of heat system. The research is featured with combined heat and power generation, combined cooling and heating supply and industrial energy saving for energy use in a graded manner, waste heat-gas-electricity synergistic complementary large temperature difference centralized heating, multiple renewable energy complementary low-carbon hot water preparation, new type of ductile iron heat pipe, full working condition optimized operation of heating system, heat pipe battery thermal management, multi-channel small temperature difference phase change heat storage, heat transfer performance evaluation and strengthening of heat exchanger, heat transfer-mass transfer-flow-chemical reaction multi-field coupling analysis, cooperative operation of tower-machine pump (group) of circulating water system, zero-cost cooling of cooling tower, and pyrolytic recycling of high-risk solid waste.
