Office of Student Affairs

1. Conduct the ideological and political education of students in the school under the unified arrangement of the university and school.

2. Organize the education for the entrance and graduation of new students and graduates.

3. Conduct the daily management of students and organize various activities beneficial to the physical and mental health of students.

4. Take charge of student loan, and provide assistance to extraordinarily poor students.

5. Guide the comprehensive assessment of each class and review the issuance of various scholarships.

6. Take charge of the selection of “All-round Good Students”, “Excellent Student Cadres” and “Excellent Civilized Classes”.

7. Manage the student registration and files, develop and improve the relevant student management system.

8. Supervise the safety education of students, and handle the safety emergencies.

9. Take charge of students’ character appraisal and daily punishment.

10. Complete other tasks assigned by the leadership.

Communist Youth League Committee

1. According to the work plans and requirements of university and schools, and based on the characteristics of Youth League members and the reality of schools, formulate the key points of league work for schools, convey the spirit of superior documents, report the work to superiors in time, and reflect the situation.

2. Focus on the central work of the Party, and carry out the ideological and political education of the Communist Youth League vividly in various effective forms. Regularly study the ideological status of Youth League members and carry out targeted education.

3. Adhere to the systematic education of the basic knowledge of the Youth League members, help them enhance their awareness, correctly exercise their rights, consciously fulfill their obligations, and reward and punish them.

4. Strengthen the construction of the backbone team of the Communist Youth League, train the cadres of the Communist Youth League as planned, assist the Party organizations to discover, train and inspect the activists who are eager to join the Party, and recommend the outstanding members to join the Party.

5. Combining with the central work of the Party and government in the university, actively carry out the activities of creating the “May 4th Red Flag Youth League Committee” to improve the overall work level of the Communist Youth League.

6. Care about the thoughts, studies and lives of the Youth League members, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of young students, often understand and reflect the opinions, suggestions and requirements of the Youth League members, and maintain the stability of the school.

7. Go deep into the grass roots to conduct the investigation and study, understand and get to know the ideological trends of Youth League members in time, and provide the basis for scientific decision-making of leaders.

8. Develop new members, collect, manage and use the league membership dues, and transfer the organizational relations.

9. Guide the Youth League members to abide by the Code of Conduct for Students in Colleges and Universities and the rules and regulations of university, advocate the fine school spirit and study style, organize and lead Youth League members to carry out “Youth Volunteer” activities, learn from Lei Feng and advanced figures, do good deeds and set a new style, and devote themselves to the construction of school spirit.

10. Actively carry out S&T innovation activities for college students, and cultivate students' innovative consciousness, innovative ability and entrepreneurial spirit.

11. Actively organize the social practice activities for college students, so that students can understand the society, national conditions and reform, learn knowledge, grow talents, receive education and make contributions in activities, and consciously take the road of healthy growth of young intellectuals.

12. Give full play to the carrier role of campus cultural activities, actively carry out the healthy campus cultural activities, and create conditions for the improvement of students’ cultural quality.

13. Guide and help Students’ Union, Graduate Students' Union and other student associations to work independently.

14. Complete other tasks assigned by the leaders of school and the higher-level Communist Youth League Committee.
